Buena Vista Services, LLC is a forestry consulting firm
with offices located in the San Francisco bay area serving clients throughout Northern California. Founded in 2003 by
Registered Professional Foresters Gene Forsburg and Joe McGuire (both formerly with Space Imaging Corp. and Pacific Meridian
Resources), BVS provides traditional forestry consulting services such as timber management, forest inventory and GIS services.
In addition, BVS works closely with numerous private landowners, land trusts, open space districts and agencies to develop
appraisals for conservation easements, carbon sequestration, exchanges, partitions and condemnations. Projects have
also included damages, minority interests, taxation and expert testimony.
